PS 3845 REGULATORY LAW AND PUBLIC POLICY

An historical and contemporary survey, review and analysis of regulatory policy in the United States; examine, in depth, the relevant political and policy issues related to legislating and enforcing regulatory standards and rules. An analysis and critique of the politics and policy impacts of selected cases in environmental, health and safety regulation, e.g., ground water and air pollution, smoking, pharmaceuticals and worker safety.
