MGS 3040 MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS
This course introduces students to modern information systems (IS) and demonstrates how global organizations use them. The focus of the course will be on identifying the critical components of information systems - people, software, hardware, data, and procedures, and illustrating how to integrate and manage these components to create a competitive advantage. Students demonstrate hands-on skills in spreadsheets and database management systems software.
