DSN 1200 WORLD DESIGN I
Lecture course charting the story of design over time and across disciplines and world cultures including but not limited to the influences of work and ideas on the evolution of design study and practice. Focus on the study of the processes and effects of design innovations within historical, cultural, and geographical contexts noting the relationship of the past to the future of design. Field trips and fees required.

ENG*1030 or equivalent and DSN*1100
