BIO 3404 ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY II

An integrated understanding of human anatomical structures and their functions. BIO 3404 is a continuation of BIO 3403 and includes the study of the autonomic nervous system, special senses of the nervous systems, endocrine system, cardiovascular system, blood, lymphatic system, respiratory system, urinary system and reproductive system. Laboratories are synchronized with lecture materials and include exercises using models, microscopic slides, animal specimens. Participation in the lab involves the study of anatomical structures and hands-on exercises related to physiological mechanisms of the viscera and team work/group discussion. Additional lab study time and group study is also important. Lectures are synchronized with laboratory exercises as much as possible. (3 lecture and 3 laboratory hours) Credit cannot be given for both BIO 2402 or BIO 2409 or for BIO 2403-2404 or for BIO 3433-3434.
