The Health Minor provides a strong foundation for students to learn and address the physical, social, psychological, cultural, and clinical needs in regards to health from an interdisciplinary, intersectional and social justice perspective. Students will be able to apply this specialized knowledge and expertise in the field of public health to their major discipline of study and thus increase their graduate and employment opportunities.

Guided Electives 12
All elective should be selected with the advice of a Health Faculty Member; each Health Minor student must select four (4) guided electives (ANY HED or HPE) to satisfy the requirements for a Health Minor. A minimum of six (6) semester hours must be from upper division 3000-4000 level courses.
