HIST 3852 THE HISTORY OF SCIENCE

The course will cover the history of science from a world perspective from ancient times to the present. General areas covered will include: the origins of science, its development, and interaction with society. The social impact of science on society, religion, literature, philosophy and popular culture will be examined. 3 credits of History or Approved Petition Required.
