IND 2303 DIGITAL VISUALIZATION TECHNIQUES

The lecture / studio course emphasizes the importance and application of various 2D and 3D rendering software in the industrial design industry. Students will learn industry tools and skills to help convey their designs in a professional and proper format, work between software in a productive manner. The course consists of a series of projects based on real world industrial design scenarios. The emphasis will be on techniques and the development of new skills in the various design software including 2D platforms like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design and 3D rendering platforms like Adobe Dimension, Keyshot, as well as, presenting the student work via appealing visuals in the most efficient manner. New technologies like AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality) will be briefly covered. Material, Technology fees and field trip fees required.
