HIST 3245 THE HOLOCAUST 1939-1945

Examines the mass murder of European Jews and other victims during the years 1939-45, standing as a major crime of the twentieth century. Issues covered include: tension between the destruction process and the Nazi war economy, resistance by Jews and other victims and its effectiveness, response of the Allies, and the legacy for modern humanity and the contemporary world.
