CJ 3750 CYBER RISK MANAGEMENT

This course will serve as an overview of understanding cybersecurity risk and information control and management, as well as mitigating strategies to protect data, systems, and networking. Students will develop foundational tools that will facilitate thoughtful and purposeful defense strategies while developing an understanding of risk, how to assess and manage risk, and how to mitigate risk. Topics for this course will include the government cybersecurity frameworks, such as those provided by NIST, ISO, and SANS and content related to cybersecurity threats, physical security technology, cyberattacks, cyberterrorism, cyberwarfare, and deterrence methods.
