Students must have a 2.0 GPA in order to graduate from this program and must submit evidence of passing all the required number of credit hours.
Program Description:
The program offers a B.S. in Economics. The Economics major prepares the student for the basic structure, processes, institutional framework and theories of the field of study. The student is trained in the analytical tools used in their study, through additional optional mathematics and computer science courses where necessary. Courses in economics prepare the student for graduate work in economics, finance, management, government, public policy, and law as well as corporate and public sector employment. During the program, students are highly encouraged to obtain related internships, for which credit can be earned. Majors are required to seek early and regular advisement by an Economics faculty member.
