DPT 6630 INTEGRATED CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IV
This is the final installment in a course designed to further develop physical therapy students within clinical practice settings, and allow students the opportunity to have more advanced didactic knowledge reinforced through clinical education. Through this course, the first year DPT student spends ten, 4-hour sessions, in a clinical environment under the direct supervision of a license physical therapist. Student will participate in 4 debriefing/discussion sessions throughout the semester with the DCE and core faculty members. This experience is designed to help students become socialized to the clinical environment, and to integrate knowledge, practical skills, and professional behaviors learned in the classroom.
