Pre-qualification requirements for the MBA degree program are COMM 3590, MATH 1054, MATH 2526, MGS 3032 and MGS 3040. Students must pass this courses with a grade of B or better to be pre-qualified. See Kean University's MBA program for additional information.

CPS 1996 Research Initiative for Freshman (Optional): Students can take 1 credit which may fulfill Free Electives requirement with approval of the Departmental Advisory Committee. CPS 1996 is recommended to be taken in the second semester of the freshman year.

CPS 2010 Career Education (Recommended)

CPS 3171, CPS 3172, COS 3173 Internship in Information Technology (Recommended): Students can take a maximum of 6 credits for CPS 3171/72/73 Internship in Information Technology which may fulfill Free Electives Requirements with the approval of the Departmental Advisory Committee.

CPS 3291, CPS 3292 or CPS 3293 Career Internship in Information Technology (Recommended)

CPS 1996, CPS 2010 and CPS 3171/72/73 are Information Technology courses acceptable for use in Free Electives and are managed by the School of Computer Science. CPS 3291/92/93 Career Internship in Information Technology are also internship courses acceptable for use in Free Electives managed by Career Services. Students interested should contact Career Services.
