SW 5402 HUMAN BEHAVIOR IN THE SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT II
The second course in the Human Behavior and Social Environment sequence that addresses human behavior in groups, organizations, communities, and global context. Values and ethical issues in social work are explored with special attention to social, economic, and environmental justice through advocacy. Interactions among systems of various types and sizes are explored. Individualization of people with respect to race, ethnicity, gender, age, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation and ability level is addressed in relationship to environment. Required for Foundation Masters in Social Work (MSW) Prerequisite(s): SW*5401
