PA 5730 Non-Profit Organization Law & Governance
This course deals with the legal issues raised by nonprofit, nongovernmental entities. The course will focus on a wide range of topics - federal taxation, governance and organization, political action and regulation - that are specifically focused on the not-for-profit sector. In addition, this course examines the fiduciary, ethical and legal responsibility of nonprofit boards. Prerequisite(s): PA 5710: INTRO TO NON-PROFIT MANAGEMENT
