GD 4223 BRAND STRATEGIES AND DESIGN

An advanced studio course on branding. The principles of brand building strategy, concepts, design, copywriting, and storytelling will be covered. Students will create transmedia branding campaigns. Emphasis will be on the conceptual and design skills necessary to create effective branding building. Laptop required. Purchase of supplies, attendance at the Thinking Creatively Conference, and field trips required. May be repeated once for credit. Required for BFA: Graphic Design: Interactive Advertising Design Option. Elective for all other design majors. Prerequisite(s): GD 3020, GD 3220;
