2018-2019 Undergraduate Catalog

CHEM 3383 PHYSICAL CHEM LAB/RECITATION I

Laboratory experience to illustrate theoretical concepts of physical chemistry with the emphasis on thermodynamics through experimental measurement. Laboratory excercises and reports will focus on obtaining the values of therodynamic variables, such as enthalpy, entropy, and Gibbs free energy. In addition, statistical skills needed to assess data quality will be developed, and used to evaluate the need for repetition of experiments. (4 hr. lab./1 hr. )
