All programs are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD)
Admissions Requirements:
Freshman and transfer students applying for our BFA programs are required to submit a portfolio of 10-15 samples of their work including sketches, observational drawing and works in color. Three-dimensional work, photographs, prints, digital work or mixed media may also be included.
Declaration Requirements:
Intended B.F.A Studio Art and Studio Art: Photography Option majors must maintain a 3.0 GPA in Fine Arts and Art History courses. After completion of at least 30 credits of Fine Arts and Art History courses, all intended BFA majors must successfully complete a second portfolio review in order to be fully declared in the major.
Intended B.A Fine Arts majors, after completion of their foundational major requirements, must successfully complete a portfolio review in order to be fully declared in the major.
Graduation Requirements:
- B.F.A Studio Art and BFA Studio Art: Photogoraphy Option majors must maintain a 3.0 GPA in Fine Arts and Art History courses.
- B.F.A majors are also required to exhibit a body of work in their final semester in conjunction with the Mentor Sequence.
