Laboratory to support classroom instruction for AGRI 120 - Science of Animal Husbandry. This class includes introductory applications of fundamentals of animal science and animal management and production. One 2-hr lab per week.

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- Provide an overview of the role animals play in the agricultural industry in the production of food and fiber
- Recognize and describe behavioral principles of safe and humane livestock handling
- Identify and describe common animal husbandry practices used in the safe and efficient management of various livestock species.
- Compare and contrast intensive and extensive livestock production systems for common livestock species
- Acquire experience handling livestock in various scenarios
