This course covers the elements of Music embracing a working knowledge of rhythm, melody and sight-singing and keyboard skills. Students may test out of this course by completing the Music Placement Exam with a 90% or higher.

- Identify Major and Minor key signatures
- Identify notes in Treble and Bass Clef
- Read and clap rhythms
- Identify Intervals, Triads, and Dominant 7th Chords
