AUTB 166 Structural Repairs
Utilizing CSI vehicles, components and service information, students participate in interactive classroom and lab exercises on the repair of a moderate to heavily damaged vehicle using specialized frame and uni-body measuring, anchoring, and pulling equipment. The student will use special welding techniques and corrosion preventive materials as required to restore the vehicle as closely as possible to pre-collision condition.

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- Measure the extent of damage to a vehicle structure using damage analysis techniques
- Create a plan of action and repair moderate to heavily damaged vehicles
- Apply proper anchoring procedures for uni-body and body-on-frame vehicles
- Perform general sectioning procedures used on uni-body and frame type vehicles
- Restore corrosion protection to repaired and replaced structural and non-structural areas
