This course will prepare students for employment opportunities in health care as a competent nursing assistant. In addition to classroom learning, students are provided with hands-on experiences in the lab and clinical area that result in the development of basic competencies required of nursing assistants. Upon successful completion, students are eligible for the Idaho State testing required to be placed on the Certified Nursing Assistant registry.
