ENGL 100 English Composition Plus

English 100 is a writing course that provides additional instruction and support for ENGL 101 in the form of hands-on work and additional reading and writing assignments with a focus on developing writing strategies, critical reading skills, and study skills. Placement in this course is based on COMPASS Writing Skills scores. Students who place into a higher English course may still elect to take this course. Prerequisite: Satisfactory placement score or prior completion of ENGL 015 or ENGL 020. Corequisite: ENGL 101A.
