PHI-316 Philosophy of the Mind

A critical examination of issues in philosophy of mind, such as our knowledge of other minds, the relation of mind and body, the nature of the self, and artificial intelligence. The course will include an examination into whether the dominant concept of the self in Analytic philosophy is intrinsically male or western.
