Pre-Physician Assistant Specialization

Completion of this specialization, along with introductory sequences in biology and chemistry, will fulfill the core science prerequisites for Physician Assistant programs; however, each school has its own list of specific requirements. Students should check the requirements for each PA school of interest well before graduating. In addition to science courses, most PA schools require at least one writing-based course, Psychology (PSY 100 and either Developmental or Abnormal Psychology), and Statistics.
