HIS-499T.2 Reading Seminar: Imperialism in Modern East Asia

This course will operate as an advanced-level readings seminar. Students will engage in intensive readings of some of the more influential secondary literature on imperialism in China, Japan, and Korea during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Students will be required to read at least one monograph each week and provide written and oral presentations on the readings. Prerequisites: Instructor permission
