The Associate in General Education - Associate Degree Nursing Applicant (AGE) is designed for students who wish to begin their study toward a career in Associate Degree Nursing. This degree is designed to allow exploration within the discipline of Associate Degree Nursing while working toward acceptance in the competitive admission program. Many of the courses are equivalent to college transfer courses; however, the program is not principally designed for college transfer.
Admission to the Associate Degree Nursing program is competitive. Students completing the Associate in General Education - Associate Degree Nursing Applicant program are not guaranteed admission into the Associate Degree Nursing program. Students completing the Associate in General Education - Associate Degree Nursing Applicant program will be awarded the Associate in General Education degree.
