Career Services provides complete support for Daytona State College students and alumni seeking employment. Whether finding a temporary job while attending Daytona State, or preparing for your first professional job following graduation, we provide specialized expertise to help you accomplish your goals.

• Resume and Cover Letter Writing - We can help you build a professional resume and cover letter, and help you tailor it to the jobs for which you're applying.
• Career Services Online Job Board (Handshake) – This is your opportunity to connect with employers who are specifically looking for Daytona State College students and alumni.
• Big Interview - An interactive, multimedia tool that helps you practice and enhance your job interviewing skills.
• Workshops - Examples include: Resume Building, Mock Interviews, Career Services Presentations, and more.
• Business Etiquette - Develop your confidence and skills for interacting in professional settings.
• Dress for Success - Learn the do’s and don’ts of what to wear once you land that interview
• Employer Recruitment Visits - Come prepared with a resume and network with local employers looking to hire qualified candidates at our Daytona Beach Campus.
• University Recruitment Visits and Transfer Connections - Attend a Transfer Fair (virtually or in-person, given availability) to learn more about transfer requirements for popular colleges and universities in the state of Florida.
