CHET 1100 INTRODUCTION TO CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY
A survey of chemical industry job functions, professional ethical responsibilities, and employment opportunities in the local and national workforce. Topics include record keeping, literature use, government regulations, chemical safety, quality control, glove box use, radiation safety, and criticality issues. Case studies and group projects will be used to illustrate specific aspects of the course.
