Program Description: The Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Repair Technician is designed to prepare students for employment in the automotive industry. The program emphasizes hybrid/electrical vehicle operation, diagnosis and repair. Emphasis on safety with high voltage batteries will be addressed. Students will be able to obtain industry certifications in the Hybrid/Electric Vehicle field.
Employment Opportunities: Graduates of this program will be able to be employed in a variety of positions in the Automotive Industry. Vast opportunities exist for trained, qualified, automotive entry level technicians. Dealerships, Fleet Repair services, Independent repair facilities, and self- employment opportunities are just a few examples of employment opportunities available in the ever broadening and technologically advanced automotive repair industry.
