Program Description: The Air Conditioning Technology Diploma program is a sequence of courses that prepares students for careers in the air conditioning industry. The program emphasizes a combination of air conditioning theory and practical application necessary for successful employment. Program graduates receive an Air Conditioning Technology diploma and have the qualification of an air conditioning technician. High school diploma or GED is required to be admitted to the program.
Employment Opportunities: Since air conditioning has become standard in homes, businesses, and many industries, the need for craftsmen in this field will continue to increase. Many program graduates eventually open their own businesses.
