ANI 300 3D Animation I

Building on the foundational principles of 2D animation, this course will introduce students to the realm of 3D animation, emphasizing the mechanics of character movement, weight, and pose. Students will explore key techniques for modeling and animating 3D objects, environments, and behaviors, developing a thorough understanding of how to create dynamic, believable motion in three dimensions. Through a combination of theoretical study and practical application, students will learn to analyze, design, and implement procedural workflows for 3D animation using industry-standard software. This course will equip students with the tools and skills necessary to approach 3D animation confidently, mastering core principles while enhancing their ability to bring virtual worlds and characters to life.
