MSN 6611 Instructional Technology for Nurse Educators
This course equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to design curricula, develop instructional strategies, and create learning environments that effectively integrate advanced technologies to enhance teaching and learning. Students will explore the integration of technology tools to facilitate productive learning experiences and will cover the social, legal, and ethical considerations associated with technology in educational settings. Key topics include information and communication technologies (ICT) and informatics processes for delivering care, gathering data, and forming information to support decision-making, as well as the role of technology in expanding professional knowledge and wisdom. Additionally, students will learn how to utilize informatics to manage and improve the delivery of safe, high-quality, and efficient healthcare services in alignment with best practices and regulatory standards. Emerging technologies and their applications in education and healthcare will be examined to prepare students for the evolving technological landscape in professional practice.
