Public Health (BS)/Master of Public Health (MPH): 3+1 Program

The BS/MPH 3+1 Program allows Simmons students to complete their BS in Public Health and their Master of Public Health in Health Equity within four academic years, including summer classes. Students may apply before matriculation, or within their second year in the undergraduate program. Matriculated students must contact the Public Health Bachelor's Program Director within their first year in the undergraduate program to receive academic advising. The Bachelor's Program Director assists students to plan their accelerated undergraduate studies and to plan for the MPH application process. The application for the MPH program must be submitted by February 1st of the second year in the undergraduate program.

Note that students need 128 unique credits to graduate with an undergraduate degree.
Students generally take several summer courses following their first and second years in the undergraduate program in order to complete the BS in Public Health within 3 years.
