OA4601 Models for Decision Making
The objective is to be able to formulate and analyze operational and executive decision problems, where a lack of clear problem definition and data, sequential timing of decisions, uncertainty, and conflicting objectives, are all normal features of such problems. Understanding and applying influence diagrams and decision trees form the core part of the course. Emphasis is on building models and determining data requirements. Specific areas include the use of policy space analysis in sensitivity.
