Program Overview:

You Deserve to Have a Career You Love While Making An Impact on the World.

Not every career allows you to wake up every day excited about the work you get to do in the world. For many students, it can be overwhelming to choose the right degree program but if you want to not only love your time in the classroom and your career afterward, then you're in the right place.

The Early Childhood Program, through a combination of classroom time and hands-on practicum, is designed to develop the skills, competencies, and knowledge necessary to provide quality care and education for children (ages 0-8) who are developing typically or have special needs. This program also prepares individuals for the nationally recognized Child Development Associate credential.

Program Requirements for Admission:

    • Early Childhood Education Admissions application.
    • An interview with an Early Childhood Education Program advisor.
    • Idaho Health and Welfare Enhanced Criminal records background check.

Exit Requirements:

Upon completion of the ITC,  and AAS degree, students will be prepared to take the NOCTI exam before graduating.
