This course covers the nuts and bolts of the jazz language, including vocab and great solos from various jazz styles, jazz aural skill practice, common chord progressions, common tunes, useful jazz theory, and jazz rhythm and phrasing. It will also cover creative approaches to improvisation. Singers and instrumentalists are welcome.
