Prerequisites and Corequisites
A prerequisite must be completed prior to gaining access to another course. A corequisite must be completed concurrently with another requirement or course. If a course has a prerequisite, students will not be able to register in the course unless those requirements are in progress or have been met. If a course has a corequisite, such as a lab, the student will need to register for both the lecture and lab at the same time. Students can check the course catalog or talk to their advisors if they have questions about specific requirements.
