  • 2. understand the application, purpose, function, construction, compositions, types of: a. various clutches, torque converters, and flywheels used with mobile off-road equipment b. transfer cases, power dividers and differential gearing c. Constant Velocity Transmission(CVT), automated, countershaft, and planetary power shift transmissions d. power reversers (power shuttles) e. drive and power take-off shafts, and universal joints f. differential gearing systems g. track machine differential steering systems
