MAT-451 Real Analysis
An introduction to modern real analysis. Topics include the axiomatic characterization of real numbers, construction of irrational numbers, countably and uncountably infinite sets, the topology of metric spaces, limits and convergence of sequences, continuity, completeness, compactness, and connectedness.
Prerequisite
MAT-252 must be completed with a grade of C or better prior to taking this course.
