MAT-372 History of Mathematics
A historical survey of the ideas, tools, and symbols of mathematics and the people and cultures who developed them, beginning with the origins of mathematics in counting, astronomy, surveying, accounting, music, art, etc.
Prerequisite
MAT-252 must be completed with grade of C or better prior to taking this course.
