ENV-203 Knowing Water

In this course, students will survey the history of water use, policy, and law in the U.S. and in Idaho supported by readings in basic hydrology. Through field trips, maps, readings, and contact with guest speakers, students will gain tools to pursue a final project on their chosen water-related topic. Students will practice the methods of interdisciplinary environmental studies and engage in analytical reading, formal writing, research techniques, and data analysis.
