ENV-202 Knowing Land

In this course, students will examine the history of land use, place attachment, and land tenure in the U.S. and in Idaho supported by readings in basic geomorphology. Through field trips, maps, readings, and contact with guest speakers, students will gain tools to participate in a final survey project in the local area. Students will practice the methods of interdisciplinary environmental studies and engage in analytical reading, formal writing, research techniques, and data analysis.
