ENV-201 Knowing Birds
In this course, we study the lives, science, and cultural meanings of birds. Through field studies, migration and population databases, and scientific, historical, and anthropological literature, we examine birds locally and globally. The course culminates in an individual research-based project. Students will practice the methods of interdisciplinary environmental studies and engage in analytical reading, formal writing, research techniques, and data analysis.
