Psychology and Health Minor

The Psychology and Health minor is designed for students who are preparing for careers in health professions. The minor is intended to give students experience in psychology and related fields that will provide a knowledge base in how individuals and social institutions affect health and well-being. Students will learn about multiple social science frameworks for understanding human health.

Complete TWO courses that focus on health-related topics from a social science perspective (6 credits). Substitutions will be considered if the student submits a short written rationale to the minor coordinator for why the course fulfills this requirement. A syllabus might be requested as well.
