Professional Foundations and Enhancements

The Professional Foundations and Enhancements minor is the site of acquisition of skills, knowledge, and experience essential to success in college, career, and life.

The PFE minor requires the completion of the following components:

1. Writing Foundations: FYS-101 First Year Seminar or  IND-301 Transfer Seminar.

2. Quantitative Reasoning Foundations: MAT-120 or higher. Math requirement may vary dependent on program of study.

3. Intercultural Knowledge Foundations: HIS-110, HIS-111, or HIS-112.

4. Capstone Experience in your major area.

As additional, elective credits, students are encouraged to explore one or more of the College's high-impact learning experiences, which may include a faculty-led study away course, a service learning course, collaborative research with a faculty member, or an internship opportunity (397/497).
