SOC-330 Criminology and Deviance

This course focuses on theory and research that attempts to determine the sources, mechanics, and consequences of crime and deviance. The course also considers the microsociology of violence and the role of human emotions in crime and deviance. Students take the lead in applying theoretical and analytical skills to contemporary debates and policies regarding crime and deviance.
