PSY-370 Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine

This course examines the relationships between individual behavior, environment, culture, and health. Attention is given to theory as well as clinical and laboratory research. Topics of investigation include social determinants of health, the biopsycosocial model, behavior change interventions, and stress and coping. Prerequisites: PSY-100 or PSY-112 AND one of the following: PSY-201, PSY-202, PSY-203, or PSY-206
