Coaching Specialization

A coaching specialization will provide students with foundational knowledge, skills, and theory of coaching.  Courses provide students with a fundamental understanding of the human body and mind.  In addition, students gain skills in different team sports and officiating.  This specialization requires a 3 unit coaching specific internship to put the classroom skills to practice.

Students who major in Exercise Science, Minor in Human Performance, or Minor in Health Promotion are best situated to complete this specialization.
