The BIO-201 - BIO-202 sequence is the better choice for students planning to enter a graduate program that would require Cell Biology or Biochemistry, i.e., programs leading to careers as a physician or physician’s assistant or in dentistry, veterinary medicine, medical lab science, optometry or pharmacy.


BIO-159 is the appropriate choice for students who do not plan to enter a graduate program that would require Cell Biology or Biochemistry. Graduate programs not requirig these courses would include those leading to careers as a nurse, physical therapist or occupational therapist.
