• Articulate and apply concepts of mathematics including algebra, trigonometry, statistics, and calculus and utilize them for analysis and problem solving.

• Articulate and apply concepts of chemistry including general and organic chemistry and utilize them for analysis and problem solving.

• Articulate and apply concepts of biology including general biology, anatomy and physiology, and microbiology and utilize them for analysis and problem solving.

• Articulate and apply concepts of physics including classical mechanics analysis and problem solving utilize them for analysis and problem solving.

• Demonstrate safe and accurate laboratory techniques.

• Demonstrate written and oral communications skills appropriate to their planned profession.

Students will also complete the General Education Core Certification process and be equipped to be self-motivated life-long learners capable of independent critical thinking. Some Pharm D. programs require specific General Education courses, most frequently microeconomics, ethics, and psychology. Students should consult admissions requirements at the institutions to which they intend to apply to insure that they complete all necessary coursework.
